ONE of the region's top natural attractions is being promoted on a bus travelling between North Wales and Chester.
An image of the Clwydian Range landscape has been placed on the back of the bus, in a bid to remind passengers that the area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) is right on their doorstep.
The advertising campaign is being supported by Denbighshire and Flintshire councils and the Clwydian Range AONB.
Howard Sutcliffe, countryside officer for the Clwydian Range AONB, said: "You can catch the bus, which runs from Chester through Mold to Ruthin, and use your ticket all day for £4."
The Clwydian Range is one of only eight protected landscapes in Wales.
The hills stretch from the Vale of Clwyd in the west to the foothills of the Dee Estuary to the east; from Prestatyn Hillside in the north to the Nant y Garth pass in the south.
The promotion has been funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Countryside Council for Wales and the local authorities, through the Heather and Hillforts Project.
