The crash happened on the A541 at Pontblyddyn, near Mold, just before 11am yesterday.
It was thought a BMW car had become trapped underneath the lorry, and police and fire crews rushed to the scene.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: "We received a call at 10.58am reporting a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car on the Wrexham Road in Pontblyddyn.
"There were no injuries involved."
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman added: "We made the vehicles safe and cleared the roadway. No-one was injured."
