North Wales Police seized class A drugs and goods, which were believed to be stolen, after raiding a house in Buckley.
A woman was arrested on Friday night in relation to the possession and supply of class A drugs and theft, after officers swooped on the property in Buckley.

PC Anthony Butlin, revealing details of the operation yesterday, said quantities of cocain
e and heroin were found, along with hundreds of pounds worth of goods believed to be stolen.

He said: "A woman was arrested concerning the supply of class A drugs, possession of class A drugs and theft."

The woman was bailed to return to Mold police station at a later date.

PC Butlin said: "This operation was an attempt to recover stolen property in relation to thefts from shops in the Mold area."

The items are believed to have come from New Look, Tesco, Peacocks and Ethel Austin.

Managers from the stores were called in to Mold Police Station to identify the items found.

A team of officers searched the property on Friday night, and the swoop follows a number of police operations to tackle drug-related crime in the South Flintshire area.

On Thursday night, a team of five officers arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a class C drug with intent to supply. More than five and a half ounces of cannabis resin was seized in the operation, as well as cash.

Officers are encouraging people to contact police with information in relation to drug dealing in the county.

To report any information in relation to drug dealing, North Wales Police can be contacted through the main switchboard on 0845 6071002, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, and via PC Anthony Butlin on 07817419054 and PCSO Lynn Turner on 07854329723.
