Flintshire actress Iona Banks has died

The 87-year-old, former star of Welsh language soap Pobol y Cym, died yesterday in hospital.
Iona Banks was a founding member of Cwmni Theatr Cymru.

The actress, from Trelogan, was known to many viewers as barmaid Gwladys Lake in the long running S4C show, Pobol y Cym.
