Flintshire mayor slams critics as 'wild bisons' and 'spoiled brats'

Saltney town council is in fresh turmoil today after the latest bid to oust a controversial mayor sparked a war of words.
Saltney mayor, Cllr Klaus Armstrong-Braun, refuses to stand down and today has likened his critics on the town council to "wild bisons" and "spoiled brats" in an astonishing attack.
He said: "They've been trying from day one to get me out and it's not going to work.
"They are like bisons on the prairie in Africa – they don't do anything with any thought.
"They are so intent on getting across the river but they will run into it and drown."
The under-fire mayor added: "They are acting like spoiled brats and are worse than children."
Councillors last night voted to refer a series complaints against Cllr Armstrong-Braun to the ombudsman.
The move comes after remarks he allegedly made about another councillor.
Cllr Armstrong-Braun refused to answer questions on the matters, leading the town council to go to the ombudsman.
He says an attempt to force him to resign last night "is meaningless."
