'Hunky helpers' will be offering Wrexham shoppers a muscular hand this weekend at the Eagles Meadow development, thanks to the Arriva bus company.
The bus company Arriva is organising the special event for Saturday and has arranged for two 'hunky helpers' to be available to assist customers who are at the Eagles Meadow retail centre.

The Adonis assistance is being organised to mark the launch of Arriva's revised Seven and Eight services from Wrexham bus station to Eagles Meadow.

Arriva is offering up the gorgeous guys to carry the bags of shoppers.

And the company says that with Christmas just around the corner, bus users will be pleased to learn that until December 31 they will be able to benefit from a special flat fare of just 80p on journeys from the town's bus station to Eagles Meadow.

Arriva's marketing manager Nick Gordon said that the offer would be a real boon to passengers who are planning to buy their seasonal gifts.

"We're very excited about the all new Eagles Meadow shopping and leisure destination. And we believe that our Seven and Eight circular service will not only give bus users easier access to the centre for their Christmas shopping, but also help save some money on fuel with the low bus fare," said Mr Gordon.

"The Arriva Hunky Helpers will give Eagles Meadow shoppers a helping hand, quite literally, with their bags, and we hope they will be able to relieve some tired legs in the Christmas shopping rush."

The hunk squad will be busy carrying shopping for members of the public at Eagles Meadow from 11am until 3pm on Saturday.

"People who want to make use of the service should head to the entrance off Smithfield Road where the men with muscles will be on duty.
