THE funeral of a tragic Plas Madoc teen found dead a week ago takes place today.
Mourners are expected to turn up in huge numbers to pay their final respects to 19-year-old Danny Davies, found dead at a friend's house last Friday morning.
The cause of the youngster's death has not been established but police have said they are not treating it as suspicious.
The funeral takes place at Pentrebychan Crematorium at noon.
On Tuesday Danny's mum Diane Sheady paid tribute to her "best, best friend" who had been due to start a course at Yale College this week.
Friends of the popular teenager have also left messages of sympathy on the Evening Leader website.
