A POLICE motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a road traffic collision near the Flintshire-Wrexham border on Thursday morning (October 9).
North Wales Police have appealed for a driver to contact them over a crash which left a force motorcyclist in hospital.

The collision, which happened near the BP garage in Pontblyddyn, near Mold just after 9am yesterday, involved a police motorbike and a car.

Officers want to speak to the driver of a grey Mitsubishi Shogun type vehicle who was driving near the garage at the time. A North Wales Police spokesman said: "The vehicle was travelling towards Wrexham and towing a trailer. It is possible the driver may have witnessed the collision.

"A North Wales Police motorcyclist sustained an arm injury in the collision."

The Eastern Roads Policing Unit can be contacted on 0845 607 1002.
