A CHARITY cookbook is proving to be a huge success for a local children's hospice.
The cookbook 'Just Fish' by Sandi Braithwaite has already raised £630 for Hope House Children's Hospices and is still going strong.
The sell-out book has had extra runs printed to keep up with the demand.
Rachel Pike, community fundraiser for Hope House, said: "The book has been fantastic. We never expected it could do so well and we are grateful to Sandi for all her help and support.
"The success of the book is all down to the hard work that Sandi has put not only into making such a great recipe book but also into how hard she has worked to sell it."
Author Sandi Braithwaite said: "I am thrilled my book is doing so well. Anything I can do to help the children at Hope House is a pleasure.
"I would like to thank Trevalyn Estates who very kindly sponsored the second run, which has sold really well.
"I am also very grateful to Mr Norman Pursglove of Pursglove and Brown Accountants in Chester, who are sponsoring the third run of the book."
The books are available in the Hope House shops in Charles Street, Wrexham, and Frodsham Street, Chester, as well as in Bridgenorth, Crewe, Ludlow, Mold and Nantwich.
In addition they are available from either Rachel Pike of Hope House or from Sandi Braithwaite herself.
They are priced at £4.95 and include recipes by Gordon Ramsay, Anthony Worrall-Thompson and Rick Stein all of whom were very keen to support Sandi in her efforts.
Following her success Sandi is currently working on another recipe book this time focusing on salads.
