Police investigate alleged assault in Wrexham

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Wrexham.
The alleged assault happened near Rhosnesni Lane, Acton, Wrexham, at about 1.50am.

This morning a section of Spider Park, off Rhosnesni Lane, was cordoned off with police tape so that officers could investigate the incident.

Crime scene investigators were at the scene this morning to carry out forensic tests.

North Wales Police are appealing to any witnesses to contact Wrexham CID on 0845 6071001 (Welsh line) 0845 6971002 (English line) or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.
