POLICE have renewed their appeal for information about a missing Wrexham woman on her 42nd birthday on Tuesday.
Ermatati Rodgers, of Bryn Arwel Court, Gwersyllt, was last seen on January 4.
Yesterday Hannah Sabrun, the friend who reported her missing to police the following day, placed a notice in the Evening Leader which read: "Happy Birthday Tati, wherever you may be. Thinking of you today and every day. Love from your friends Hannah,
Anne and family. xx"
Ms Rodgers, of Indonesian origin and known locally as Tati, had arranged to meet Hannah, of Leeswood, and Hannah's parents, the Rev John Jones and his wife, Anne, of Treuddyn, for lunch at 1.30pm on Saturday, January 5 but failed to turn up.
She had sent a text to Mrs Sabrun the previous day, which read: "Hiya! Just to let u know c u tmrw around 1.30pm. C u soon, T x."
But when the time came to meet, Ms Rodgers did not appear and after being unable to contact her on her mobile phone or at her house, Mrs Sabrun phoned officers.
Speaking today, Hannah said she had placed the advert to remind people of the disappearance – and in the hope that someone might see it and come forward with fresh information.
"I'm still in contact with detectives from Wrexham," she said.
"We feel that we have lost hope in seeing her again from what the police have hinted at but we are all very upset that justice hasn't been done.
"Somebody must be to blame and be involved in the disappearance."
Speaking about the notice she added: "It is just to remind people – it is hard to know what else to do.
"We were thinking of putting flowers outside her home but they might have been taken away. We are thinking of leaving them at the local mosque just to remind people that she is still in our thoughts.
"I was thinking if it was in the press around her birthday it might spur someone on to come forward."
Despite a massive search and appeal to find her, Tati has never been found. Door to door enquiries were undertaken, specialist tracker dogs were brought in, a helicopter search of the area was carried out and posters were issued.
A 26-year-old man from the Wrexham area who was arrested in April on suspicion of her murder, but was released after being questioned has now been re-arrested and bailed.
Last month, detectives investigating a new line of enquiry revealed they were interested in contacting anyone who had bought distinctive suitcases, described as being a large lilac 'Starburst' trolley case, costing £30, from TJ Hughes in Wrexham since January this year.
They also re-released a picture to try and trace the distinctive trousers she was wearing on January 4.
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses and are urging anybody with information to get in touch with detectives on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh) or 0845 607 1002 (English).

THE best friend of a missing Wrexham woman has made an emotional appeal for information on what would have been her 42nd birthday yesterday.
Ermatati Rodgers was last seen caught on CCTV shopping in Gwersyllt's Somerfield store near her home at Bryn Arwel Court, Gwersyllt, on January 4.
Despite extensive searches and enquiries by CID officers, Tati is still missing.
Yesterday Hannah Sabrun, the friend who reported her missing to police the following day, called on justice to be done – and for those who knew of her whereabouts to come forward.
Police also revealed that a 26-year-old man from the Wrexham area had been re-arrested and bailed in connection with the disappearance.
He was originally questioned over Indonesian-born Tati's disappearance in April.
