THE seventh Wrexham Business Week, and the largest to date, was officially launched this morning (Monday, October 20).
Wrexham's own BBC Wales TV news presenter Sian Lloyd and BBC technology correspondent Rory Cellan Jones opened the event, attended by business people from across North Wales and North West England.

Careers Wales North East also unveiled their commercial arm, CW for Business, providing HR (Human Resource) business solutions designed to enhance business performance.

Wrexham Business Week continues until Friday with a programme of more than 70 events, including 'Food for Thought', showcasing local foods and hosted by TV presenter Jason Mohammad at Yale College tomorrow, and a jobs show at Glyndwr University on Wednesday, where the area's premier employers will be brought together with academic institutions to help people to find the jobs that they want and the training that they need.

Wrexham Business Week is organised by Wrexham County Borough Council's economic development department. For full programme details, phone 01978 366366 or visit www.wrexham.gov.uk/wbw.
