An inspector has been appointed by the Welsh Assembly to look at a planning and enforcement appeal at Dollar Park, Bagillt Road, Holywell.
A planning application for the use of the park to be changed from a transit area for travellers to a residen
tial site for 10 caravans, including changes to the site access, utility buildings, and fencing at the park boundary and between pitches, was submitted to Flintshire Council.
The application was rejected by planners in February last year, and an enforcement notice was issued as the application had been submitted after work had already begun.
The applicants lodged an appeal against the decision and the case is now subject to a public inquiry, which will start on Tuesday, January 20.
Interested parties who want to have their say are asked to make sure they are there when they inquiry begins, at 10am at Penbryn Chapel, Whitford Street, Holywell.
Copies of statements, evidence and summaries can be inspected at the planning reception at County Hall, by appointment only.
For more information on taking part in the inquiry, call 029 2082 3894, quoting reference APP/A6835/A/08/2076105.
