TRAFFIC is set to be brought to a standstill this Saturday (July 18) as another major fuel protest hits North Wales' roads.
The second go-slow protest to be held by the group 'Fuel Protest North West and Wales,' will leave Burtonwood Services at 10am, Saturday July 18, on the M62 between Warrington and Liverpool and will travel down the M6 and M56 to Chester Services, where there will be a 30 minute break.

It will then continue its journey via the A5117 to the M53, before travelling to St Asaph via the A55.

More than 150 vehicles took part in the group's first lobby, which left Chester Service on the M56 and travelled to the Welsh Assembly offices in Colwyn Bay, via the A55.

Organiser Gwil Ritchie said: "The first protest was so successful and this time we are hoping to get even more people to join us. So many people are being hit by the cost of fuel and can't cope with it."

I think that the fuel protest will be a total waste of time, the government have canceled the proposed 2p increase in duty till nexy year.
Its time to take it to the oil companies, to the distribution depots.
the only other realistic alternative would be a nationwide haulage strike.
but thats only my opinion.

Labour will not lower the tax on fuel, it's to much of a money maker for Labour.I renember Gordon Brown travelling to Saudi recently, he asked them to increse oil supplies, the response he got was why" don't you lower the tax on fuel?
At the rate things are going" will all be signing on soon for benefits.
I reckon we should email David Cameron as he will be leader eventually and ask him to lower tax on fuel, not the way he has recently been saying.
I just wish LABOUR WHERE GONE ASAP, take there feminazi Mps with them!!!
