ROSSETT Village Festival will be staged for a fifth successive year this weekend.

Burton and Rossett Annual Horticultural show, now in its 59th year, will take pride o
f place at the Chester Road festival and there will be many fun activities and entertainment for all the family, including pony rides, craft and produce stalls, Punch and Judy and face painting.

Back by popular demand is the dog show, where you can enter your pet in one or more of our fun classes, with rosettes awarded for the first three places in each class. Winners from each category will go through to the 'best in show' class.

For the motor enthusiasts there will be classic cars on display, for the artistic there will be an opportunity to buy local works of art and for the more adventurous there's an opportunity to test their sporting skills on our Football Speed Agility course, welly throwing or even enter a team in the tug of war competition.

Local band Stolen Property will be performing live and there will be a wide choice of food and drink available throughout the day.
