A SPECIALIST hospital is holding a sponsored walk in order to raise vital funds.
Patients past and present of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry are being urged to take part in a mile-long walk around the hospitals grounds.

In an appeal to patients in the Wrexham area, James Richardson, professor of orthopaedics at the world-renowned hospital, said research there had provided new treatments and understanding of a wide range of conditions and aspects of orthopaedics.

The walk will start at 10:30am on June 28 and all proceeds will be donated to the hospital's League of Friends which supports a variety of projects at the hospital.

Anyone wishing to take part should contact Mary Griffiths or Amanda McFie at the Institute of Orthopaedics outcome centre on 01691 404 377.
