POLISH people living in the region can now respond to a survey on the NHS in their mother tongue.
In April, the North Wales NHS Trust launched an online feedback facility on its website called "Tell Us What You Think", encouraging patients to provide feedback on their experiences in hospital.

The questionnaires are available in English and Wel
sh and this has now been extended to include a Polish version.

Health chiefs have worked with the North Wales Race Equality Network (NWREN) to improve access to feedback facilities for the local community.

A trust spokesman said: "Polish is recognised as one of the most commonly spoken languages in the local area after Welsh and English and it was felt that the direct nature of the online facility would be the best option to open up to members of the local Polish community.

"Plus, with local libraries being able to provide access to the internet for free, this facility is open to all.

"Having feedback from users allows the trust to improve what we do, and by making sure we provide plenty of opportunity for people to put those comments to us, we can concentrate on making those improvements for all our users."

Go to www.cd-tr.wales.nhs.uk to complete the questionnaire.
