The crash happened at the bottom of Church Street, Flint, at 2.20pm yesterday (May 13).

The 29-year-old female driver was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital and treated for minor head injuries.

Two children who were sat in the back seat were not hurt in the crash.
Police, fire crews and paramedics all attended the scene, and the vehicle was made electrically safe.

A North Wales Police spokesman said: "We received a report from a member of the public to say that a Fiat Punto crashed into a shop window.

"The woman casualty sustained minor head injuries."

Fire crews from Flint attended the scene, and a spokesman for the ambulance service said the woman's injuries were not life-threatening.

The crash was the second incident to happen on Church Street yesterday.

In the morning a lorry broke down, causing the road to be closed.

A police spokesman said: "At 9.30am we received a call of a broken-down HGV on Church Street, Flint.

"The road was blocked and recovery crews were called for. The road was re-opened just after 10am."
