WREXHAM'S MP is getting behind a campaign by Mecca Bingo to light up people's lives – the green way.
Ian Lucas MP visited Mecca Bingo in Wrexham to endorse the company's national give-away of two million free energy saving light bulbs.

The give-away is a joint initiative by Mecca Bingo and SWALEC to help Mecca members save money by using less energy and reduce CO2 emissions as a result.

Every Mecca member can collect a free pack of 2 energy saving light bulbs during September by going into their Mecca club and swiping their membership card.

If all two million bulbs are used enough energy could be saved to run all the street lights in the UK for a total of 12 days, the total cost saving would be enough to pay the energy bills of 6,200 families.
