Wrexham Thai store full of eastern promise

BUDDHIST monks descended on Wrexham at the weekend to bless a new Thai shop thought to be the first of its kind in North Wales.
Try Thai, on Wrexham Industrial Estate, has been set up by husband and wife team Gwyn and Jira Ingham and will supply Asian food to individuals and wholesale to restaurants and takeaways.

Three Buddhist monks originally from Thailand travelled from the Buddhavihara Temple in Burton-on-Trent to bless the premises on Saturday, August 9 following a grand opening on August 8.

The blessing was followed by a buffet, music and Thai dancing.

Gwyn said: "It went very well. There was a lot of people who came to see the monks and practice their religion.
