FASHION students at Wrexham's Yale College have been providing their beauty colleagues with a winning formula.
Fashion students at Yale College were so impressed by the nail creations of one of their beauty peers, Emma Smith Hughes, that they put on their thinking caps to design an outfit to complement her work.

And Emma returned from beauty and holistic therapy competitions in Llanelli this month with sensational results.

She collaborated with the college's fashion department to produce the outfit in just three weeks which saw her picking up more prizes for the creation including a ticket to Canada for the 'World Skills' finals.

Keen to emphasise her appreciation to Yale College's fashion department, Emma said: "We were really under pressure to get the outfit completed. I could never have got this far without their special skills."

Helen Pritchard-Jones, programme co-ordinator at Yale College said: "This is a fantastic preview of what we can do in the fashion department. There will be more to see at our fashion show on July 2-3."

For further information about learning opportunities in 2008, telephone Yale College on 01978 311794 or visit www.yale-wrexham.ac.uk.
