THE DEESIDE mum of a little girl suffering from a serious lung disease has bared all in a bid to raise cash for much needed research.
Becky Whitfield joined forces with friends and family to produce a naked calendar to raise vital funds for research into Cystic Fibrosis.

The 21-year-old vowed to find a cure for her little girl, Elle Morris, after she was diagnosed with the potentially fatal disease last year.

The three-year old was "heel prick" tested for the condition when she was born in January 2006 but Becky and her partner, Ian Morris, were told that Elle was not affected.

However, just before Elle's first birthday, her health had taken a turn for the worse and after Elle started with a chesty cough, there soon followed the tell-tale signs of cystic fibrosis.

Now, having adjusted to life with Elle's condition, Becky, who lives in Garden City has enlisted the help of her friends and officially launched the calendar.

Having found a photographer and prop designer, the mum of two and her friends have managed to produce 2,500 copies of the charity calendar that are now on sale for £6.99.

Becky said there were a lot of nerves during the shoot but everyone involved was determined to help out.

"There were a lot of nerves. Some of them agreed and some of them I had to give a little push but they all came through in the end and no one let me down. We all stripped down," she said.

"Everyone involved knows Elle and is connected to her in some way.

"We don't know what the outcome will be but it is reassuring to know we are raising money that will go to help finding a cure."

We are just trying to get the calendars into the shops now."

The charity calendars are available to buy for £6.99.

To order one visit Elle's website www.sixty5roses.co.uk or call Becky on 07880 732142.
