MICKEY THOMAS today described flying back with Manchester United's Champions' League winners as one of the best moments in his footballing life.
"Sometimes you take things for granted but this was a magical moment for me," said the former Manchester United, Wales and Wrexham FC legend.
"Just watching the game was enough, but to fly back with the team and their families was a memory that will live with me for a long time.
"We had a bit of a wait at the airport in Moscow but spirits were sky high among everyone.
"United have done brilliantly this season and it's been tremendous commentating on what has been a wonderful season."
