WREXHAM FC are tackling Torquay United this afternoon - without Brian Little.
Wrexham FC parted company with Brian Little this morning.

Brian Little, manager of Wrexham FC since November last year when he took over from Brian Carey, left the club today by mutual consent, according to a statement released on Wrexham's official website.

Assistant manager Brian Carey and first team coach Martin Foyle are in charge for today's match at the Racecourse, and will lead the team in training for the rest of the week, although "further announcements" will be made by the club in due course.

Further updates, and a report on today's match, will follow online and in Monday's Evening Leader.

What do you think about Brian Little leaving Wrexham FC? Let us know by leaving a comment below - and leave your thoughts too on who you'd like to see next in the Racecourse hotseat.

goodbuy to boringfootball ,but nothing will change if the other two dont go aswell, before it,s to late. we need a new direction but with silk purse and sows ear as an appropiate phrase, maybe it will be harder than we think. If senior staff had the same motivation and dedication as Coops had with the youth, are team would not be in the Blue Square League

Who are we going to end up with next? An experienced manager is called for,but we said the same before Brian Little arrived, and he was experienced, and on paper a good choice, but it didn't work out.....so who now, would anyone want to join a club that has been in freefall since Denis was wrongfully dismissed (that is where the rot set in i think). But please Mr.Moss, when a new man is installed, get rid of Carey...a brilliant servant as a player, but clueless as a manager/assistant.We need a clean slate, out with the old,if we are to move forward.

Wrexham entered The Blue Square League thinking it was going to be easy. There are a lot more teams in this league with more cash than Wrexham and it shows. Wrexham now have a chance to be positive both the board and supporter groups. The board with an progressive appointment such as a player in the latter stages of his career, who has Wrexham in his blood Robbie Savage what an appointment that would be a player manager with the guts to get Wrexham where they belong.Supporter groups that are sitting on a pot full of money should forget their differences with the board and help finance Wrexham F C in a positive manner. Lastly we must get rid of Carey his sell by date went a long time ago and if the man had any integrity he would resign as he help Wrexham get where they are at now.

I too go for Robbie Savage. He always said he would finish his career at Wrexham.I would like to see him come in as Player/Manager.If anything we would have a midfield again!

I would like to see Arfon as like an adviser to Gary Speed as player /assistant manager. Arfon came to the Rhos Reds meeting last thursday, when Little was due to attend but he "forgot" Arfon still has the correct attitude, skills and knowledge, Benno? we need passion and committment, there was no one better than Gary Bennett, and he knew how to score goals!! get Savage here on loan!!! To solidify a weak and slow defence.

You dont necessarily need a "Big name" in the seat. Just someone who can put fire into the belly,s of these young lads along with discipline, respect and ambition for Wrexham F.C.
If us fans see 90 Mins of football we will be back next game. But sloppy passing and heads down is not acceptable. There boys NEED confidence now!!. Then maybe they might start enjoying there job and bannish this awful long ball game that we put up with time and time again.
Try shooting from outside the box? It works in training!.
Come on Wrexham its the eleven on the pitch that play the game not the Manager. Lets start to see 11 wannabee captains playing 110%.
And as for the Managers job, someone with good contacts is a must at this level to bring in the loan spell players from bigger clubs when required.
Top of my head i,ll say Gary Speed and Gary Bennett. Whoever comes in and that manager shouts jump....The players should respond with HOW HIGH??
