Tonight's match between Northwich Victoria FC and Wrexham FC has been cancelled due to the icy weather conditions.
Following an inspection today (Wednesday, December 3) of the Marston Arena, in Northwich, Cheshire, the Blue Square Premier game has been called off.

A spokesman for Wrexham FC said: "Despite covering sections of the pitch with canvas, particularly in front of the main stand, the match official called in to do the lunchtime inspection was still very concerned.

"The forecast is for temperatures to fall steadily again this afternoon, so conditions are unlikely to improve in the short-term."

Over 1,000 Wrexham FC fans were expected to make the journey to Northwich tonight.

There is no news on a new date for the match yet.
