Dean still to decide on loan duo

DEAN SAUNDERS has not yet decided whether to try and extend the loan deals of two of his recent signings.
Initial one-month loan deals for Stoke City right-back Ritchie de Laet and Manchester City centre midfielder Angelos Tsiaklis' are up after Saturday's trip to Stevenage Borough.
But Saunders has not ruled out new arrivals and Barnet striker Keiran St Aimiee - whose two goals sunk Wrexham during his loan spell at Grays Athletic in September - has rejoined the Reds for a second trial this week.
And with a number of injured players close to a return to action, Saunders has not made a decision whether to keep the on-loan duo for another month if their parent clubs agree.
"We have won three league games with them both involved and on Saturday I thought Angelos and Nathan Fairhurst played well together in the centre," said Saunders today.
"I have not thought about what will happen after the weekend. A few lads are coming back from injury so I will sit down and work out the best route.
"We will have to assess it.
"Andy Fleming should be fit soon and so should Kyle Critchell.
"Hopefully Silvio Spann will be okay for the weekend, although Simon Spender is a bit further away.
"I will have to weigh up what we have got and what we need, and I have also got a few irons in the fire."
Wrexham's five match winning run came to an end at Kidderminster on Saturday as Saunders experienced a first league defeat since taking charge.
After seeing Wrexham hit the post three times in the first half and come close on a number of other occasions throughout the game, Saunders is still bewildered how his side did not get something out of the game.
"I was disappointed we lost but I think it is the best we have played since I have been here," said Saunders. "We will play worse and win.
"Nine different players had a shot or could have scored in the last 15 minutes, it was unbelievable to watch. Someone did not want us to win.
"But at least the fans could see we were trying to win, right up to the last kick.
"I want to win every game but when you get luck like that there is nothing you can do. We just have to carry on where we left off and I got a good reaction in training yesterday."
Meanwhile, Wrexham have been drawn at home against Mansfield in the first round of the FA Trophy.
The Racecourse tie – Wrexham's first ever outing in the competition – is due to be played on the weekend of Saturday, December 13.
"Mansfield are a decent team and it will be a difficult match," added Saunders. "It is a home draw and that is the main thing. It seems ages since we played at home but it is a long way from my minds as we have got other games before then."
- Meanwhile, Chester City Football Club has been put up for sale.
Club owner, Stephen Vaughan, is looking for a buyer of the struggling League Two club who are currently in 19th position after bagging just 13 points from 17 games.
