Dean's delight at Weymouth win

DEAN SAUNDERS was overjoyed his side managed to weather the storm against Weymouth at The Wessex Stadium on Saturday before running out 3-1 winners.
Debutant midfielder Nathan Woolfe gave Wrexham a 15th minute lead by converting an excellent free-kick, but Weymouth upped the tempo after the break.
And after soaking up the pressure, strikers Jefferson Louis and Marc Williams scored twice within 60 seconds seven minutes from time.
Weymouth did pull a goal back in injury time but Saunders was pleased with how his side coped with Weymouth's attacking threat.
"I am really pleased today," said Saunders. "We had a bit of pressure on us there second half after we scored a goal.
"I told the players that if we get one, there has been a few problems at their club and sometimes when they are in a situation with no manager you will go on and get two or three.
"But to be fair to them they stopped us playing and they came at us second half.
"I was a bit worried before the game with the size of our team and whether we could resist that sort of a game with long balls going up, and they did their job.
"We got through that patch and a bit of class told at the other end. It was a good three points for us."
Saunders believes Wrexham could have added to the scoreline but he was disappointed with the defensive slip that gifted Weymouth their goal.
"I was trying to say to them that if you don't make silly mistakes you stay in the game," said Saunders.
"They get clear cut chances and they miss, and eventually you are going to get some chances at the other end, or they will make a mistake.
"We could have gone on and got a few more at the end but got caught offside too many times.
"I was a bit disappointed we conceded a goal at the end. That is committing suicide if it is 0-0."
Leading scorer Louis took his tally for the season to 10 goals but Saunders admitted the striker can be a frustrating player.
"The two strikers scored again so that is pleasing," said Saunders.
"I said to Jefferson that he can't score if he is sitting next to me.
"He pushes me sometimes and he nearly sat next to me today but he stuck at it and eventually scored a great goal, lobbing the keeper.
"If he just listens to me he might be a player. If he doesn't he could be at Rhyl."
Having landed another loan signing, Nathan Fairhurst, Saunders now has more than 30 players available in his first team squad.
And Saunders admitted he has selection dilemmas going into Saturday's trip to Kidderminster Harriers.
"These are young boys and they have come in on loan," said Saunders. "Some of them are two weeks into their loan and they come and go.
"We have got players who did not play today who will be involved and I want at the club.
"It is a nice problem to have. We have got a few selection problems to make but all we have got to do is stick together and keep fighting like that, and we'll be alright."
Saunders added: "We are a million miles away from what I want. At the level we are at we are getting better.
"We are not making the silly mistakes the defence has been making for about four years, not just this season and last season.
"That goal for example at the end was one of the ones that was being made on a regular basis, and the boys are disappointed with it. It took the shine of it a little bit.
"We have got to keep improving. I want to sit there, play football and enjoy the match as well.
"Some of the moves at the end is the way I want us to play, so we have got to make the spells a little bit longer."
Delighted to set a new club record as best start as manager of the Reds with five consecutive victories, Saunders said: "I just want to keep it going now.
"I think it took us seven-and-a-half hours to get here on Friday which is a bit of a nightmare but we will enjoy it on the way home."
