The former Wrexham striker, who has suffered three successive relegations from the Football League with Rushden, Boston and Wrexham, has been on trial at Gillingham, Luton and Rotherham.
But despite impressing Millers' boss Mark Robins in a pre-season friendly, the South Yorkshire club will not be offering him a deal.

Meanwhile Millers' defender Marc Joseph thinks the club's players can bounce back from any potential points deduct
ion.

Joseph said: "We are not really worrying about it until it happens, at least at the start of the season we will know where we stand."

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has said signing striker Adrian Patulea could be difficult.

The Romanian trialist scored in the Imps' 3-2 friendly win at Retford United on Tuesday after a hat-trick against Lincoln United on Sunday.

Ex-Chester City skipper Jackson said: "When he first came he had paperwork but no club, one hat-trick later, he's got a club but no paperwork.

"We're trying to get in touch with the Romanian FA to sort it out."

Rochdale manager Keith Hill has dismissed suggestions his squad will suffer a play-offs defeat hangover.

The Spotland side lost 3-2 to near neighbours Stockport in the League Two play-off final at Wembley in May.

Former Wrexham defender Hill said: "The lads are fully focused on this season and they want to go one better.

"The players will also be judged that little bit more this season because they will be looking to use the valuable experience they got."
