The 18-year-old only joined on a one-month loan deal hours before Wrexham beat York City 3-1 at The Racecourse in their last outing.
Wales under-21 international Allen made an immediate impression among Reds' supporters, scoring the opening goal a
s well as turning in an impressive performance which earned him the man of the match award.
And Allen, who has only made one appearance for Swansea this season, wants to make a similar impact during the rest of his spell with Wrexham.
"It was brilliant to get out in front of fans and play. I came to Wrexham for time on the pitch," said Allen today.
"I did not ever think that in my first game I would score. Thankfully I did.
"I was happy with my performance. Obviously it is a new club and I am playing with new people, but they are a great bunch of lads and I think it went well for me against York.
"But most importantly, we got the three points.
"It is an important factor that the fans take to you so hopefully I can repay their faith and keep performing well."
Allen admitted that Wrexham head for Mansfield full of confidence with the aim of continuing to climb the table: "I am looking forward to the next few games now in the month I am here and hopefully I am involved," he said.
"Hopefully I can help push Wrexham further up the table.
"It is a new era here and everyone at the club believes we can go places. It is great to be part of it.
"The mentality here is we can go to other places and win. I want to play some part tomorrow and pick something up."
Allen featured as a second half substitute in the first leg of Wales under-21's European Championship play-off clash with England who won 5-4 on aggregate.
"It was a great experience to be involved against England for such an important tie," added Allen.
"I played half an hour in the first game and although I didn't get on in the second leg, it was pleasing to be part of it."
