BRIAN LITTLE does not expect to make any more new signings before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
However, that could change if there is movement in the other direction.

Four contracted players remain on the transfer list after being told by Little at the end of last season they are free to leave The Racecourse.

Left-winger Sam Aiston has started all three Blue Square Premier matches this term after impressing Little in pre-season while goalkeeper Anthony Williams has been on the substitutes bench, but striker Michael Proctor and midfielder Silvio Spann have not been included in any of the squads.

And unless other club's were to express an interest in the quartet, Little, who made seven summer signings and has also recruited midfielder Christian Smith on a short-term deal, expects no new faces to arrive before the August 31 transfer deadline.

"I am right, if not on, certainly above my limit at the moment," said Little today. "All the lads who are with us are working hard.

"Michael Proctor and those who are aren't in the group, everybody knows they have got to keep themselves right.

"At the moment we can't bring anyone else in but at the moment we have got a good group so we will work hard with them.

"If anything changes it will be instigated by someone going the other way."
