Wrexham will be aiming to launch an immediate promotion bid when they begin their new Blue Square campaign against Stevenage Borough at The Racecourse on August 9.
When everyone is fully fit, Little would currently have a 26-man squad available but he accepts some players will be disappointed when he names the starting eleven for the visit of much fancied Stevenage.
And Little said he will not accept a negative reaction from anyone left out during the next nine months.
"Some will be disappointed next Saturday but that is the nature of my business," said Little today.
"Whether they agree with the team or not, they have to act properly at this club.
"I can't afford a group of people who don't get on with their work properly.
"Their attitude has got to be 100 per cent whether they are in or out of the team.
"The lightest indication they are not, and they let me down, everyone will know.
"I can't afford people in the corner sulking when I have picked the team and they're not in.
"Everyone wants us to go back in the right direction. If they are not prepared to help, I will make sure everyone knows about it.
"There are no passengers - I won't have it.
"We are nine days away from the start and ready to work, and everybody needs to be aware of that."
The Reds, who complete their build-up to the new season with a friendly at Stafford Rangers on Saturday, have a hectic start to their league campaign.
Wrexham play four matches in 12 days - two of which are live on television - and Little said all his players have to be ready for action throughout the course of the season which will also see the Reds compete in numerous cup competitions.
"We have got four games in 12 days and I would be surprised if we played the same team in all of those matches, though I hope we do and we win all four," said Little.
"The season ahead could see us play 60-plus games so we need the group of players to be ready.
"I might want to change things as time goes by but that is the same as any manager."
Little is calling for everyone connected with Wrexham Football Club to pull in the same direction this season.
And the Reds' boss believes it is a new start for the club.
"I need everyone - players, staff, fans and the media - on board with myself," said Little."We are all in this together.
"It is a new beginning and we start from now. I am not looking backwards.
"I am at the top and responsible for what goes on and I need everyone to pull in the right direction, irrespective of whether they think I have picked the right team.
"We won't be going in the right direction if everyone is at each others throats."
Little is hoping his players show an inner belief this term and he hopes Wrexham can learn from Leeds, who almost won promotion last season from League One despite starting the campaign on minus 15 points.
"We have to believe we have gone as low as we can go and will bounce back," said Little.
"Some people can shine with that inner belief in you can get it right.
"Clubs have had that siege mentality about themselves and climbed back - Leeds nearly got promoted even though they started minus 15.
"If we have that we have got a chance.
Little was hoping to name a side close to what will start the season when Wrexham take on Stafford on Saturday but a number of players, such as Jefferson Louis (ankle), have picked up minor injuries.
The good news is that striker Simon Brown is available and Little will assess those carrying knocks before deciding who will feature.
"I can't say 100 per cent it will be like for like for Stevenage at Stafford," added Little.
"We will see what we have got and how injuries will have an impact on what we want to do.
"If Jefferson is not fit, there will be a little change and Simon needs some time."
An ankle problem has ruled summer signing Brown out of Wrexham's last three friendlies but he hopes to put himself in contention for a starting place when the season kicks off by playing at Stafford.
"I did it in shooting practice and although I have done some work with Mel Pejic, there is no replacement for match fitness so I hope to get some minutes under my belt," said Brown.
"It was disappointing to miss three games but it was only just over a week out, and I would rather miss them games in pre-season than when the real thing starts.
"There is good competition here but hopefully I make the first eleven for the start of the season.
"I hope to prove myself at Stafford and then see what happens next week."
