BRIAN LITTLE admitted that Wrexham's seven matches in March will be decisive in the battle to avoid relegation.
Bottom of the table Wrexham remain six points away from safety after their six game unbeaten run was ended by Peterborough last night.

Next up for Wrexham are second from bottom Mansfield at The Racecourse on Saturday, and with other matches in Ma
rch against teams at the wrong end of the League Two table, the Reds' boss said it will be a significant month.

"I think we look at the next few games and know there is a few deciding elements about each of them as we go along," said Little.

"Team who themselves have been in trouble, though one or two who have been able to get a result or two somewhere along the line.

"We have worked hard to throw it all away, and we won't throw it all away.

"Now we can look at March where there are seven games, and they are all going to be massive games for us.

"This next phase of games are going to be the deciding factor for us."

Two second half free-kicks sank Wrexham but Little was pleased with his side's performance against the Posh who moved up to second in the table.

"There weren't any clear cut chances for either side so in that respect we've matched them," added Little.

"There were times in the second half up until the free-kick that I thought we were fractionally ahead. We looked sharper, but the first goal was a major blow to us. It was a silly free-kick to give away because they were going nowhere.

"Ultimately two set-pieces has seen Peterborough through.

"We are disappointed. It was a hard night's work and to come away with something would have been a great result."
