WREXHAM skipper Neil Roberts is among eight players who look set to leave the club as part of Brian Little's revolution.
Matty Done and Carl Tremarco have been offered new contracts by Wrexham.

But another eight players, including on-loan Stoke City midfielder Robbie Garrett, will not be offered deals.

Chris Llewellyn, Neil Roberts, Danny Williams, Michael Jones, Mike Carvill, Jamie Reed and Alex Darlington have all been told by manager Brian Little they are surplus to requirements.

Roberts, who has played as a midfielder for most of the season, was told today he would not be retained when his contract expires in the summer.

The striker, who is from Wrexham, scored 28 goals in 130 appearances in two spells for the Reds.

Steve Evans, also out of contract, will told talks with Little later in the week.

Five players - Mark Jones, Phil Bolland, Danny Sonner, Jeff Whitley and Josh Johnson - were told last month they would not be kept on, while Sam Aiston, Richard Hope, Michael Proctor, Silvio Spann, Anthony Williams were all made available for transfer.

Drewe Broughton, Richard Duffy, Paul Hall and Stuart Nicholson, who were on loan at Wrexham, were told they would not be offered permanent deals.

Meanwhile, Wrexham have revealed they will not field a reserve team next season.

What do you think of Brian Little's changes? Leave your comment below.

I think that it is terrible news not to have a reserve side. What is the reasoning behind this? What next, no youth team set up.......oh no sorry, as long as the moss youth are here then we can say that at least that is safe. Moss and Dickens need to open their fat wallets and sort this club out properly! I am getting tired of this now, can we please have some good news for a change, since those two have been in charge its been all cost cutting to the detriment of the club. Look where we are, "saviours"!

Very interesting news, think this clear out is what we have needed for a long time and fully agree with Brian's actions, Shaun Pejic and Brian Carey out next would be great, another couple of wasters. With regards to no reserve side next season, Derby have announced no reserve side so why can't Wrexham....there are games to be won on the pitch along with the aim of promotion, what would be the point of having a reserve team just to fulfill fixtures, fully agree with your actions. Good luck Brian. BRIAN LITTLE'S RED & WHITE ARMY!!!
