Postponement doesn't bother Dean

DEAN SAUNDERS remained philosophical after seeing Wrexham's game against Northwich Victoria called off because of a frozen pitch at The Marstons Arena.
Match officials felt there was no chance the game would go ahead and made the decision at 1pm, and Wrexham, who have already played two games less than some teams in the division, will now have three matches in hand on some of their rivals.
There is a full programme of fixtures next week, but Wrexham's trip to Northwich had been brought forward a week.
But Saunders was not too down about the postponement, saying: "I'm disappointed. I have got players in on loan for a month and I wanted them to play games.
"But it does not matter. I guarantee we will play all our games by the end of the season."
Saunders, with more than 30 players currently available to him, was not worried about the possibility of a fixture pile-up, adding: "We will cross that bridge when we come to it but I have got enough players here."
Wrexham, who have not had a home fixture for five weeks, are back in action on Saturday when Kettering are the visitors to The Racecourse.
