Tom Kearney opened the scoring in the first half with a deflected free-kick and the Reds' captain delivered two corners after the break that were converted by Jefferson Louis and Christian Smith.
And having practised dead ball routines in training, Little was pleased the hard work paid off.
"That is a very important part of our play," said Little today.
"We have got people at the club who can deliver like Tom and Wes Baynes.
"There are the two centre-backs, Steve Evans when he is in there, and Jefferson Louis, so we have got firepower.
"And people will get more used to Christian Smith. He is good in the air and gives us something there.
"It was pleasing to score a few goals from set pieces.
"We spent a couple of mornings last week on delivery and where to put the ball to.
"If we can win from dead balls it will be a great asset and I hope it continues."
Meanwhile, players not involved against Stevenage were today travelling to Everton for a behind closed doors friendly.
Little was quick to ensure his squad got their feet back on the ground after the excellent start to the season and that the focus switches to Thursday's televised match at York CIty.
"Winning has helped and everyone has come in today in the right frame of mind which is good," added Little.
"We were not sure how it would go on Saturday and, result wise, it probably went better than we thought it would.
"But there is work to do and we are trying to get everyone back down before we start planning for York.
"Myself, Martin Foyle and Brian Carey will all watch Blue Square Premier games tonight and there is a friendly game at Everton for the lads who have not played, and some of Saturday's substitutes.
"We are busy and just trying to digest as much about the league as we can."
