RED ALERT: Lewes - home match, 2008

KEVIN KEEHAN is feeling the pressure at Lewes.
Lewes find themselves rooted to the bottom of the Blue Square Premier going into tomorrow's match against Wrexham at The Racecourse.
It was always going to be a tough season for the Rooks following their promotion last season as champions of Conference South, and they were widely regarded as one of the favourites for relegation.
Lewes have found the going tough, but Keehan's side reached a new low on Tuesday evening when they were sent crashing out of the FA Cup by little Leiston.
The Rooks failed to capitalise on home advantage at the Dripping Pan in the fourth qualifying round replay against the minnows and they found themselves three goals behind after 65 minutes.
David Wheeler pulled one back but Leiston, from the Ridgeons Eastern Counties League premier division and the lowest ranked team still in the competition, deserved their 3-1 win and there were calls of "Keehan out" by the Rooks supporters.
Keehan admitted he was feeling the pressure after Lewes failed to secure a place in the first round of the competition - Suffolk club Leiston now have a home tie against Fleetwood Town - and the chance to bring in some much needed revenue.
"To be immune to what I am listening to would be difficult," said Keehan, who had seen his side draw 1-1 at Leiston in Saturday's first meeting.
"You know, you have to be a bit thick skinned but at the end of the day, they want Lewes to win and we didn't.
"We let them down tonight but I still think we had enough players to win the game even without so many players. But you can't give a side an incentive by giving them goals, which we did.
"We are doing our best but it was not good enough.
"We should have won and brought much-needed revenue in. There is a lot of pressure at the club to bring money in."
The club say they will hold an "emergency" board meeting next week following the defeat.
Keehan's position will be under discussion and the financial implications of failing to reach the first round of the FA Cup.
But while he is in a job, Keehan has got to prepare his troops for the long trek to Wrexham who themselves were dumped out of the FA Cup in midweek after being humiliated at Unibond League Premier Division outfit Eastwood Town.
While Wrexham have enjoyed an upturn in fortunes in the league under manager Dean Saunders, having won all three matches to climb up to eighth position since the former Wales international striker took charge, Lewes have struggled to make an impact all season.
Lewes have collected 11 points from their 16 matches and are currently five points adrift of safety.
The Rooks went 11 league matches before notching up their first win in the Blue Square Premier, drawing four matches and losing 11.
Things got better when Lewes got off the mark with a 2-1 home victory against Oxford United at The Dripping Pan on September 27.
Lewes picked up one point from their next two matches before recording a second win - again at home - when they overcame Forest Green Rovers 3-2.
But normal service resumed in their last outing when Lewes were beaten on their own territory by Northwich Victoria who leapfrogged the Rooks at the foot of the table after their 3-2 win.
Even though they were turned over by fellow strugglers Northwich, Lewes have picked up more points at The Dripping Pan than on their travels.
Indeed, Lewes are still looking for their first away win after recording four draws and four defeats in eight outings.
Keehan's squad was stretched thin for the cup tie against Leiston and he will be without the experienced Danny Cullip, who has made more than 350 appearances in the Football League but limped off in the warm-up, and Michael Standing because of injury.
Also missing in midweek were on-loan midfielder Jack Compton and striker Sam Gargan have returned to Championship outfit Brighton and Hove Albion, although Keehan is hoping to bring the duo back in on a similar deal.
And defender Aswad Thomas has also gone back to parent club Charlton but could also return on another loan deal.
Rikki Banks should continue in goal with Steve Elliott, Chris Breach, Anthony Barnes and Andy Wilkinson - a youth team player who made his home debut on Tuesday - forming the defence.
Ollie Rowland, Joe Keehan - son of manager Kevin - Seb Wallis-Taylor and Bell formed the Lewes midfield in midweek while Scott Taylor and Stefan Cox are in line to lead the attack once again.
