The Wrexham and Wales international defender Steve Evans has signed a new one-year deal with the Reds.
The out of contract centre-back had been mulling over the decision to re-sign after being offered a new deal by Wrexham boss Brian Little and today put pen-to-paper.

The contract is for an initial one year with the club, with a view to a one-year extension.

Is this a good move for Wrexham?

I think it's a good signing by Brian Little - perhaps the most promising of the summer. Evans was inconsistent last year but he has shown in the past that he can play at a higher level. I agree with Robin WAFC that he can be the best of the best in the BSP.

Steve has got undoubted ability....... when he puts his mind to it! I hope he has a great season, which if he adopts a more professional manner off the pitch, then I'm sure he will
