Tremarco joined Wrexham at the start of the year in a deal that runs until the end of the season after Wrexham bought out the remainder of the left-back's contract at Tranmere Rovers.

The 22-year-old is one of ten out-of-contract players at The Racecourse who will be told after Saturday's final game of the season at Lincoln City if they will be offered a new deal by manager Brian Little.

With Little keen to make wholesale changes, five players have already been released and another four still under contract have been made available for transfer, while four loan signings have been told there is no future for them with the Reds.

And although Tremarco has not ruled out staying at Wrexham if given the chance, he could be swayed by the lure of football elsewhere.

"I'm not sure what will happen yet," said Tremarco. "My agent has been speaking to the gaffer so I know there is interest there.

"But I am open to all offers and it is whatever suits me.

"I would like to stay at Wrexham but if something better comes, I can't really turn it down as I am only young. But I am not going to rush into anything.

"We will have to wait and see what happens but I have not dismissed staying here and there is a possibility I would."

Tremarco, who returned to training this week after being sidelined for six-weeks with an ankle injury sustained in the victory against Bury on March 15, was allowed to join the Reds in the January transfer window after finding his chances limited at Prenton Park this season.

This is the first time Tremarco has found himself facing an uncertain future after being given his first professional contract at Prenton Park in 2004 – but he is unaware of any interest from any other clubs.

"I've not heard of any other offers," said Tremarco. "The season hasn't finished and nothing has happened yet, and I have not ruled anything out.

"I just hope to play and get through Saturday's game and take it from there.

"It is strange because I have never been in this situation before.

"I have always had a contract and known where I will be the next season."

Tremarco was handed his first team debut at Tranmere in the 2003-04 season by Brian Little who spent nearly three years in charge at Prenton Park.

And Little, was a big factor in Tremarco signing for Wrexham and the defender says the Wrexham manager, who gave him a two-year contract extention at Tranmere in 2006, has been a big influence on his career.

"I would go anywhere where the gaffer went," said Tremarco. "I like him as a manager and a person. I get on well with him and admire him.

"He gave me my debut at Tranmere and I have got a lot of respect for him."

Injuries have prevented Tremarco from featuring more at Wrexham and he has been restricted to nine starts.

But he is hoping to return from a six-week lay-off in Saturday's final match of the season against Lincoln City at Sincil Bank, ending relegated Wrexham's 87-year unbroken membership of the Football League.

"It's been nice to be back in training but I am gutted the season is over," said Tremarco.

"I've been out longer than I hoped and six weeks on the sidelines has been a nightmare for me.

"I was made up with the opportunity at Wrexham so it has been frustrating to get injured.

"I came here to play and I must have missed ten games.

"I feel I have sort of let the gaffer and the fans down by not playing, but it could not be helped.

"My ankle feels good now, although I've felt a bit stiff, and I am hoping to be in contention for Saturday.

"It would be great to get a game in and play before the end of the season."

But Tremarco, who has impressed on the left flank, has been pleased with how he has performed in a Reds shirt.

"I've been happy with my performances, although I was a bit dodgy for a goal at Wycombe," added Tremarco.

"I'm still young and have got a lot to learn so I just hope I can stay injury free and keep playing games wherever I am."
