WREXHAM FC completed their preparations for the new season with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Stafford Rangers.
The result will provide encouragement for Reds fans worried about the side's ability in front of goal.
Strikers Jefferson Louis and Shaun Whalley both grabbed two goals each - combining well throughout - while substitutes Silvio Spann and Steve Evans completed the rout.
Whalley put the Reds in front after 12 minutes, racing on to Louis' through ball to fire home. He doubled the lead on 23 minutes with a clever chip over the keeper.
The second half saw Wrexham FC continue to dominate, with Louis scoring on 48 and 56 minutes, before Spann - on for Whalley - and Evans - who had replaced Nat Brown - got in on the act.
