Having collected nine victories from his 13 games in all competitions, Saunders is keen to build on those solid foundations between now and the New Year.
After Saturday, the Reds have three of their next four league matches away from the Racecours
e, but Saunders is unconcerned about where his team play their games.
"We have had three games at home recently so the pitch has cut right up anyway," he said "We have had to make sure the training we have done has got us ready for the weekend.
"On our pitch things will get difficult. I can only tell them before the match how to play and when they are out there and confronted with different situations they need to use their own common sense.
"The opposition will try and stop us playing, but the players need to decide quickly on the pitch how they will go about overcoming that.
"We have had a few reports on Eastbourne and the way that they play. Although, my main concern is with my team and how we play.
"A game is a game and I don't mind whether it is home or away, there is no reason to differ in how we play.
"It only affects the psychological aspect of a player, the pitch may appear smaller or bigger, but they have nothing to worry about."
With the fixture congestion in the league and Wrexham still bidding for a trip to Wembley in the FA Trophy, Saunders knows that he will need all of his sizeable squad over the next few months.
"It is up to those who have not been involved recently to make sure they are 100 per cent ready for when they are needed," added Saunders.
"I am sure that some of them will be needed and everybody needs to take the opportunities they get. We have cover for every position and the players know what is required of them.
"If they do what I require then they stay in the team, if they don't do what I want then they come out of the team.
"With games close together it will take a big effort for the team to get maximum points, but the way we have playing and the confidence in the club - I don't see any reason why we can't give it a good shot."
Saunders continued by admitting that with the right attitude and dedication, Wrexham can be challenging for automatic promotion come the end of the Blue Square season.
"When I first came to the club we were chasing Crawley," he explained. "Now we are chasing Burton, but they will slip up somewhere despite the fact that they are on a good run.
"We need to make sure the attitude stays right and that we pick up the points so that when they do slip up we can take advantage.
"Results over Christmas are important. Even when teams are stopping us we need to keep going and doing what we can to score the goals.
"It is all about the team at the moment, it doesn't matter who scores - in fact - it doesn't matter who plays as long as they are giving their all."
