WREXHAM fans will be united next season after all Reds' groups agreed to join together under the 'Wrexham Supporters' Federation' umbrella.
The Wrexham Supporters' Association, Shropshire Reds and London Reds will unite with the Holywell and District, Mold, Buckley, Rhos and Kings Mills groups and they want more fans to sign up for the new Federation.

Carroll Clark, who has been chairman of the offcial Wrexham Supporters Association for more that three decades, will take up the same position in the new Federation with Shropshire Red Brian Davies taking over the treasurer's role.

Federation spokesman Pete Jones said: "Many fans will be unaware of the Wrexham Supporters Federation and what it is, but the committees of all supporters groups are fully aware of the Federation having for the past 12 months held discussions that would be of benefit to the supporters groups movement and Wrexham FC who have been fully behind the aims and function of the Supporters Federation.

"The Federation brings together all recognised supporters groups under one umbrella, but maintains the individuality of each group who will remain being run by there own elected committee's, who make up the Federation committee."

The new fans' group will have three main objections and they are:

a) To reflect the primary importance of Wrexham FC to everyone connected with it and to develop the Football Club's fan base by encouraging greater, more positive, support.

b) To promote and encourage all Supporters Groups to join the Federation for the benefit of Wrexham FC and its Supporters Groups.

c) To participate in joint fund raising and sponsorship activities to generate finances to the benefit of the Supporters groups and in particular, Wrexham FC.

Jones says the benefits of joining a supporters' group are many and one lucky fan who signs up will be pictured on the official first team photograph

"The Wrexham Supporters Federation encourage all Wrexham supporters to join a supporters group where you will be able to take advantage of the following benefits that have been agreed with the Football Club," he added.

"Priority match tickets for 'big' matches after season ticket holders, and sponsors and there'll be 10 per cent discount in the club shop when you spend over £20 upon showing your membership card.

"Fans will also get the chance to enter a draw to be part of this season's first team squad by having their photo taken on the official team photograph."
