WREXHAM FC are closing in on the loan signing of Liverpool FC midfielder Ryan Flynn.
Wrexham FC manager Dean Saunders is keen on bringing central midfielder Flynn to The Racecourse ahead of tonight's loan transfer deadline.
20-year-old Flynn, who joined Liverpool from Falkirk, has been a regular for the reserves side this season.
He was a key part of the Liverpool's successive FA Youth Cup wins, scoring in the final against Man City in 2006 and bagging three goals during the 2007 campaign.
Flynn also helped the reserves to league glory in 2007-08.
He's yet to make his senior competitive debut, although he has featured in several pre-season friendlies.
