INCONSISTENT Wrexham FC lost to Grays Athletic after conceding two goals in seven minutes before half time.

The Reds mounted a second half fightback and scored courtesy of a Levi Mackin screamer from a free kick.

But Brian Little's side could not find the finish to earn a point, with leading scorer Jefferson Louis missing two excellent chances in the second half.

Wrexham were undone by a brace from Kieron St Aimie shortly before half time. The first goal came from a long ball which caught the Reds defence asleep, with St Aimie slotting past Gavin Ward.

Then, minutes later, St Aimie struck again, with Wrexham's defence again guilty of a lapse in concentration.

Mackin's superb strike five minutes after the re-start was just what Wrexham needed, but they couldn't find a way back into the match despite creating several good chances.
