Wrexham manager Brian Little today said that there will be no hangover from last weekend as his side prepare to face Ebbsfleet at The Racecourse tomorrow, (3pm).
The Reds put on their most disappointing display of the season in the 2-0 loss at Cambridge last Saturday, but Little is determined to end the month on a high, and with three home games in the next four fixtures, he is targeting an upturn in fortunes
.

"Nobody enjoyed Saturday," he explained. "Now we are at the point in the week where we have focused on the game ahead and we have been very bright and very honest.

"We have had our first couple of days of the week where we are a little bit on edge with each other which is probably the right way to have been.

"People have responded well, they are focused on the game, everybody wants to be in the team. We are ready, everybody wants to play; some will be left out, some will be disappointed, some will be chuffed, but we have just got to try and win a football match and that's what this week has been about.

"We have three of the next four games at home and we could end the month in a decent position in the table, that's our aim. We have had our period of feeling sorry for ourselves and feeling down but now we need to prove we are a team and we have spirit.

"We need to be prepared to work for each other and show the supporters that we are all in it together.

"We go a long way to putting everything right if we win on Saturday, end of story. Whatever the team is, everybody gets a chance to get out there. If they win then they get a chance to stay out there the week after.

"We came in after the Salisbury game and deep down we thought we had cracked it.

"Football does that, we need to stay strong together. We know we need to change a couple of things. We know that long term we need to strengthen the team and stuff like that, but at the moment we have a group of players that are contracted and unless someone leaves we can't do anything.

"Rest assured that if someone does leave then we will be straight out in the market place looking to bring someone in."

With Ebbsfleet unbeaten in six league matches, Little knows that tomorrow's match will be far from straightforward.

He said: "Nobody knows much about the league. We have seen already that there are some decent teams and I have said before that the top half of this table would hold their own in the one above.

"This is not an easy game because they are playing well and they have had some good results, but I still believe that if we do everything properly then we will give anybody a game in this division.

"Whatever we do, if we win then not many people will have many complaints, but if we lose then a lot of people will have a lot to say about it. That is the nature of the business we are involved in and I fully understand and expect that."

Little's selection will depend on the fitness of Steve Evans.
Evans became the first non-league footballer to feature for Wales since the 1930s when he entered the match against Russia with 13 minutes remaining.

"Brian, Martin and myself will have a chat today," he said. "We each put our ideas forward and hopefully when Steve comes back and we know he is fit and well then we will pick a team and away we go," he said.

"We are waiting for Steve to come back which I think will be great for us. I sat watching it and when he came on I felt really good and really pleased for him.

"There are not many people playing non-league football who manage to play in a game of such magnitude and against such great players as well.
"I was chuffed. I think it is absolutely brilliant and I hope it gives him a massive lift.

"We already know how important he is to us, so hopefully he will come back fit and strong and looking forward to playing football. It's a marvellous achievement from his point of view."
