Wrexham FC's results are Dean Saunders' only concern

DEAN SAUNDERS says he is not concerned about how Wrexham's promotion rivals are faring.
Seventh place Wrexham are three points away from the play-offs but with games in hand on all the sides above them except for Histon.
The Reds could have leapt into a play-off berth had they picked up three points against Northwich Victoria on Wednesday but the game was called off because of a frozen pitch.
And with a busy festive period coming up, Saunders is just concentrating on his side trying to win every game they play.
"We just have to try and win every game," said Saunders. "We are closing the gap all the time.
"If we had won on Wednesday we would have been in the play-offs.
"We have not got any control over what other teams do, and we have to focus on ourselves.
"And the other teams will all be playing each other soon – but they can't all win."
Wrexham end a run of four away games when they host Kettering Town at The Racecourse tomorrow, and that is the start of four games in a row on home territory for the Reds who have two cup matches in that sequence.
Determined to put a good show on for The Racecourse faithful, Saunders is hoping for a good crowd tomorrow after five weeks without a home game: "We will try and win all these home games," he said. "It seems ages since we played in front of our own fans and they must be itching to see the team play.
"Hopefully we will get a good crowd. I want to see as many fans there as possible, and it does help the team. We have got to get the club back to where it was with the stadium full.
"And fans will see fast, energetic football with all the players giving all they have got.
"You can't expect them to play like Barcelona but they can give 100 per cent when they have got the ball and when they have not got the ball."
Wrexham reacted to a first defeat under Saunders against Kidderminster Harriers by winning 2-1 at Stevenage Borough last week, taking their record under Saunders to six victories in seven outings.
And while Saunders is realistic enough to know there will be more set-backs before the end of the season, he said the important thing is how his players react.
"The players are learning all the time, and improving all the time," added Saunders.
"When you get a punch on the chin, which will happen on a regular basis, you have got to walk through it and carry on doing what you are good at.
"We played well at Kidderminster but lost, but we bounced back to win the next game against Stevenage last week. I was pleased with the response. When you go behind you have to play through it and we have done, finishing games very strongly.
"As long as you are not giving silly goals away, the other team has to play well to score."
