WREXHAM FC's build up to the new season continued with a 0-0 draw at home to Championship side Blackpool.
The result - following last week's 1-0 victory over Wolves - will provide more optimism for Reds' fans.

Wrexham FC's latest signing, Darran Kempson, made his debut and will have been pleased to play his part in a second consecutive clean sheet for Brian Little's men.

The best chance of the first half fell to Jefferson Louis, but the striker mis-kicked after good work by Sam Aiston.

Michael Proctor, who played the second 45 minutes, went close after the break, but Wrexham couldn't break down the Blackpool defence despite plenty of pressure.

Don't miss Monday's Evening Leader for a full match report.
